- Seeing a Doctor
- You can see a doctor any morning, except Sundays, by coming to our
open surgeries before 10:30 am.
If you have an urgent medical problem there is an open surgery every
day (except Sunday) and you will always be seen within 24 hours.
If you wish to see a specific doctor we will tell you when that doctor is next available.
If you have a booked appointment, we will always try and see you within
20 mins of your appointment time, and will give you an explanation
if there is a delay.
- Emergencies
- A doctor is available 24 hours a day.
- Telephone
- We aim to answer your calls as quickly as possible. Telephone advice is
available. If you wish to speak to a doctor, please telephone between 10:30 and 11:00 am.
- Repeat Prescriptions
- Repeat prescriptions can be ordered by telephone, in person, or by post.
Your prescription will normally be ready to collect between 24 and 48 hours of receiving your request
(please give us 48 hours notice if we normally dispense your medication).
- Home Visits
- We expect you to attend the surgery when you need medical help.
However, if you are unable to get to the surgery because of ill health we will visit you at home.
Please telephone before 10:30 am and you will normally be visited after morning surgery.
We welcome your comments and suggestions on the service we provide.
If you have a serious complaint, please talk it over with one of the doctors.
