Nurses Clinics

Nurses' clinics are by appointment only. We have a nurse available on most days, and they also run evening and Saturday morning surgeries.

Our nurses can remove stitches, change dressings, look after leg ulcers, and syringe your ears. They can also carry out travel immunisations, and can advise you which injections you need if you are planning a holiday.

Our nurses offer routine check ups for the contraceptive pill, HRT, asthma, diabetes and blood pressure.

If you wish to have a Well Man or Well woman check, they will check your blood pressure, weight and can organise a few simple tests. In addition, they can give advice on diet and healthy living.

Children are welcome at The Little Surgery.
We run a special childrens clinic every Friday, 1:30 - 3:00. No appointment is necessary. The Health Visitor, Nurse Sally Major and Dr Fields are all available for advice and routine check ups.
The practice provides a full immunisation course for babies and children.

Ante natal clinics are held by appointment every Monday 12:00 - 1:00 with the community midwives.
We use the Maternity Unit at Peterborough Hospital.

Women's clinics by appointment with Dr Ruth Livingstone on Tuesday 2:30 - 3:30, for gynaecological problems and menopausal problems.

Repeat prescriptions are for regular medication which the doctor agrees you can order from the surgery without being seen first.

You can order repeat prescriptions by

Please give us 24 hours notice if you need a repeat prescription.

Dispensing Medication
For patients who live in a village situated more than a mile from a chemist, we can offer a dispensing service. You may collect your medication from the surgery instead of taking your prescription to the chemist.

Please give us 48 hours notice if you need a prescription dispensing.

28 days Supply
To comply with national and local guidelines, your repeat prescriptions will usually be for enough medication to last 28 days.
