The Doctors

Dr John Fields

Dr Fields graduated from The London Hospital in 1980.

Dr Ruth Livingstone
[picture of doctor]

Dr Livingstone graduated from Southampton in 1979.

Dr Melanie Denton
[picture of doctor]

Dr Denton graduated from Leicester University in 1990.

Dr Fields and Dr Livingstone are husband and wife, with 3 teenagers at home. Dr Denton is married to a Peterborough GP and has 2 young children.


 

The Practice Nurses

Our practice nurses work in the surgery, and deal with minor injuries, dressings, ear syringing etc.
They also run Well Man and Well Women Clinics, and will check blood pressure, cholesterol, weight, and give advice on diet and healthy living.
Both nurses are trained to give Travel immunisations and tetanus boosters.

Jan has a special interest in asthma,
and is a trained family planning nurse.

Sally has a special interest
in the menopause and diabetes.

The District Nurses

Sister Tanya Bosworth and Nurse Jo Robinson are our district nurses. They visit patients who need nursing services in their own homes.

 

The Receptionists

picture of the receptionists There are 6 receptionists and 1 administrator working at the Little Surgery. They deal with all your queries, give information, make appointments, and organise repeat prescriptions. They are also responsible for the running of the surgery, secretarial and general administrative work.

Mrs Gail Windsor is our senior receptionist and is responsible for the computer and general administration.
Mrs Lynette Naylor is responsible for day to day housekeeping and paying the bills.
Mrs Christine Frith and Mrs Sandy Williamson-Noble work in reception and in the dispensary.
Mrs Nina Gookey and Mrs Jeanne Richards work in the reception area.
Mrs Margery Barwell works in the back office and helps us with organising routine check ups, cervical smears and immunisations.


The Health Visitor

Our new health visitor is Mrs Judith Sommers
She provides help, support, and practical advice for young families. She visits children at home and also runs a weekly child health clinic at the Surgery.
